Yes, there is, is used just to make work jasperreports for the FOSS reports. Professional version use an very improved report module and it not require Tomcat to work.
If Professional version does not require Tomcat to work. Then how come Jasper reports work? For Jasper reports to run it requires some java server/container like tomcat. Could you put more light on this.
I have not had a chance to play with version 4. If it doesn't use the jasper server anymore what can you use in place of iReports to write custom reports in the community version?
I guess I need to dive into verson 4 over the weekend!
